Top 100 Dealer Awards to Highlight Industry's Best

CMT star Cody Alan will return to the mic to host the Top 100 Dealer Awards at 6 p.m., Friday, July 14. From the Top 100 honorees, seven music retailers will be recognized in "Best Of" categories including: Best Store Turnaround, Best Customer Service, Best Store Design, Best Marketing and Sales Promotion, Best Online Engagement, Best Emerging Dealer/Rookie of the Year, and one recipient will be honored with the Music Makes a Difference award. The Dealer of the Year award will go to one of the recipients in the aforementioned categories.

"At the heart of every music store, there is a story of inspiration, dedication and a pursuit to create a more musical world," said Joe Lamond, NAMM President and CEO. "The Top 100 Dealers exemplify a commitment — to their communities, their staff, and the industry to create a space which welcomes and inspires music makers through their products and services."

From a self-submission process, an independent panel of judges numerically rated the Top 100 Dealers across several categories including customer service, music advocacy, store design and promotions. Each submission was scored to determine the Top 100 list, the category awards and the overall Dealer of the Year award.

The Top 100 Dealer awards party will be held in the Karl F. Dean Grand Ballroom at Music City Center during the Summer NAMM show. All Summer NAMM badge holders are invited to attend this evening honoring excellence in music retailing.
