Former Manny's Music Site Sells
for $24.3M

The Real Deal reported Feb. 12 that Rockefeller Group bought vacant land at 156 West 48th St. in midtown Manhattan, after holding a long-term lease on the property, for about $24.3 million.

The seller was Ian Goldrich, grandson of the founder of instrument store Manny's Music, which used to sit on the site and was sold to Sam Ash Music in 1999.

Rockefeller Group now owns much of the block once known as Music Row, according to the article written by Mary Diduch.
