Glen Caruba Named President of Pearl Corporation
Glen Caruba
Pearl Corporation has appointed Glen Caruba as president of its U.S. operations, succeeding Terry West, who is retiring at the end of this year. The leadership transition marks a new chapter for Pearl as the company continues its commitment to innovation, quality and supporting musicians throughout North America.
Caruba brings extensive experience within Pearl Corporation, most recently serving as vice president of sales and marketing. His longstanding involvement with the company, combined with his understanding of the MI industry, positions him to guide the organization into its next phase of growth.
Throughout his career at Pearl, Caruba has played an important role in supporting the company’s sales and marketing initiatives and strengthening relationships with retail partners. As president, he will oversee the company’s U.S. operations and strategic direction, while continuing to build upon Pearl’s established reputation among musicians, educators, and our vast dealer network.
“As a kid, I remember poring over my first Pearl Export catalog, dreaming of the day I’d have one of those kits for myself. Now, leading the company is beyond anything I imagined. My lifelong passion for music has been intertwined with Pearl for decades, and I look forward to guiding one of the most iconic brands in music to new heights,” Caruba said.
Caruba succeeds West, whose leadership and contributions have helped shape Pearl Corporation’s position in the North American musical instrument market. Pearl recognized West’s dedicated service and the role he has played in advancing the company’s legacy.
“Looking back on more than 39 years with this great company, I am truly honored and humbled by the countless opportunities, cherished experiences, and lifelong friendships I have been so fortunate to acquire,” West stated. “Bittersweet is a term often used to describe retirement, and now I fully understand why. The word perfectly captures the mix of sadness at leaving an organization you deeply love and the pure excitement of what’s next in life’s journey.”
