Zoom North America Promotes Battin to VP of Sales, Planning
Zoom North America has promoted Eric Battin to vice president of sales and planning.
Battin graduated from DePaul University with a degree in business management and joined Zoom North America at its inception in 2013, as its very first associate. Battin initially handled many facets of the work required, from sales and marketing to warehousing and shipping.
In 2014, Battin was promoted to U.S. national sales manager and has been key to Zoom’s sales growth over the past eight years. As vice president of sales and planning, Battin will continue to be a vital member of Zoom’s sales team, reporting to Dan Gallagher, senior vice president of sales. Additionally, Battin will be responsible for managing and implementing the company’s planning across its various departments.
“From the beginning, Eric’s dedication, commitment and work ethic have made him valuable to our team,” said Scott Goodman, Zoom North America CEO. “I can think of no one better, or more deserving, to support the company in this newly created position.”
“I am incredibly grateful for the experience I’ve had at Zoom North America and for the opportunity to further the company’s growth in this new capacity,“ Battin said. “I could not imagine a better team or a better brand to be a part of, and [I’m] excited to continue my role in supporting our customers.”
