Voting Open for 2nd Annual Drumeo Awards
Online platform focusing on drum education Drumeo has announced the 2022 Drumeo Awards nominee list is live and the public can now vote for their favorite drummers in 15 categories.
In 2021, Drumeo created its own award show as a means to honor and support the drumming community. The awards give an opportunity to highlight different genres and playing styles, as well as bring attention to drummers and further spread the love of drums.
In a statement from Drumeo, the company said, “Every year, drummers around the world accomplish amazing things. From how-did-they-do-that performances to tasteful recordings and creative initiatives, musicians are making moves and taking names. For this reason, Drumeo has developed 15 categories in total with five nominations per category.”
Public voting is open now through Dec. 25. The official Drumeo Awards Show will be held on Jan. 27, 2023.
Voters will also have the opportunity to enter several gear giveaways, including one for a Yamaha Tour Custom drum kit. Winners will be announced during the Drumeo Awards Show.
