Senseney Music Owner Lori Supinie Passes Away

Lori Supinie, owner and president of Senseney Music Company in Wichita, Kansas, passed away from brain cancer on July 12. She was 63.

Supinie began working for Senseney Music in Kansas and soon took an active role in the store’s community activities and educational programs. Supinie oversaw the store’s sheet music department and was as active member in industry organizations, including the National Association for School Music Dealers (NASMD) and the Retail Print Music Dealers Association (RPMDA) for which she served on the board in many functions, including as president in 2009. Upon Denny Senseney’s retirement, Supinie purchased the Senseney Music Company. Throughout her years in the industry, Supinie was a frequent presenter for NAMM University, as well as at the NASMD and RPMDA conventions.
