Music Inc. Opens Applications for ‘MI 5 Under 45’ 2026 Class

Music Inc. magazine has announced that applications are now open for its annual MI 5 Under 45 young leadership awards program. Similar to a “40 Under 40” program, the MI 5 Under 45 highlights rising leaders in MI under the age of 45 who have worked in the industry for at least three years.

Applicants are judged by an independent panel made up of MI veterans.

If you applied last year, Music Inc. encourages you to apply again this year as the panel refreshes each year.

Over 45? Nominate someone who fits the criteria. Applications close Sept. 2 and winners will be contacted sometime at the end of the month. The five winners will be profiled in the November 2026 issue of Music Inc. magazine.
