Manny’s Announces Return with BandLab to Support Next-Gen Creators

Manny’s, the NYC MI store with a legacy dating back to 1935, has announced the first step in its return since Vista Musical Instruments acquired all of its trademarks from the Sam Ash Music earlier this year.

Manny’s will return in collaboration with BandLab – the world’s largest social music creation platform – for an exclusive Manny’s digital pop-up store, now available to users in the U.S. This partnership brings the brand to BandLab’s vast community of music creators, granting them special discounts and exclusive access to musical instruments from renowned brands like Harmony and Heritage Guitars, with more to come.

Manny’s holds a storied history as the premier destination where legendary artists and budding musicians alike embarked on their musical journeys. Though Manny’s iconic 48th Street, New York store closed in 2009 after being acquired by Sam Ash in 1999, its legacy continues to resonate powerfully within the music community, living on through cherished stories and sought-after merchandise. Now, under the new ownership of Vista Musical Instruments, Manny’s is poised to make a return.

The launch of this digital pop-up store marks the beginning of Manny’s revival, signaling a new chapter in its story. By teaming up with BandLab, Manny’s aims to provide the next generation of music creators with access to top-quality gear, empowering them to unleash their creativity and pursue their musical dreams with confidence.

“We are thrilled to partner with BandLab to bring Manny’s legendary stories and unparalleled service to a new generation of musicians,” said David Nam Le, general manager at Vista Musical Instruments. “This collaboration represents a perfect synergy between two brands who share a passion for supporting and inspiring emerging talent. Together, we look forward to fueling the creative spark within every musician and helping them realize their full potential.”
