Manhasset Specialty Company Celebrates 90 Years

Manhasset Specialty Company, manufacturer of music stands and accessories, is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. Founded in 1935, Manhasset has continued to maintain its legacy of innovation, craftsmanship and support for musicians.

What began with inventor and musician Otto Lagervall’s vision to build a more durable and functional music stand has grown into a brand used by music educators, symphonies, bands and artists worldwide. Manhasset’s Symphony Stand, known for its solid construction and smooth, dependable operation, remains a reliable stand for schools, rehearsal halls, and performance venues after nearly a century.
