Grover/Trophy Music Group Acquires Wuhan Cymbals, Attack Drumheads from Cardinal Percussion

Grover/Trophy Music Group, a musical instrument and accessory company, has acquired two percussion brands: Wuhan Cymbals and Gongs, and Attack Drumheads, from Cardinal Percussion. This strategic acquisition further strengthens Grover/Trophy’s portfolio, including its established Clevelander Drum Company and enhances its commitment to delivering innovative products for drummers and percussionists worldwide.
With a rich history of craftsmanship, Wuhan Cymbals and Gongs has been known for its distinctive sound and quality, while Attack Drumheads has gained a loyal following for its durability and performance. These acquisitions further solidify Grover/Trophy’s position as a top-tier player in the percussion market, offering a complete range of percussion products that cater to the needs of professional musicians, educators, and hobbyists alike.

Wuhan Cymbals was founded in 1983 and is known for its hand-crafted cymbals and gongs, offering a unique sound that appeals to drummers of all styles and genres. Founded in 1994, Attack Drumheads has built a name for itself for offering quality drumheads designed for durability, consistent tone and serious response.
The acquisition of these two brands underscores Grover/Trophy Music Group’s ongoing dedication to expanding its portfolio of premium percussion products.
