GHS Strings Promotes Deb VanDenBrink to Domestic Sales Manager

GHS Strings has announced the promotion of Deb Van Den Brink to domestic sales manager.

In her new role, VanDenBrink will lead domestic sales strategy, working closely with dealers, distributors, and internal teams to strengthen relationships, drive growth, and support GHS’s continued focus on product excellence and customer service.

Van Den Brink brings more than two decades of experience in sales, marketing and media strategy to the role. Most recently, she served as a regional marketing consultant with Sinclair Broadcast Group. Over the course of her career, she has worked with high-profile clients across automotive, retail, technology, medical and gaming categories.

Equally important to her role at GHS is her lifelong connection to music. VanDenBrink began her musical journey on piano before discovering bass in her 20s, a turning point that led her to a 1971 American-made Fender Jazz Bass and, soon after, to GHS Bass Boomers Heavy strings. She purchased her first sets at a local music shop in Royal Oak, Michigan, and quickly immersed herself in Detroit’s live music scene, writing original material, recording in downtown Detroit, and performing extensively throughout the region.

After relocating to Southwest Michigan, she spent more than a decade performing with a regional band, playing hundreds of shows, releasing an album and further developing her skills as a songwriter. She is a BMI-registered artist and songwriter and continues to play bass today.

“Music has always been part of who I am,” VanDenBrink said. “I’ve played a lot of basses and tried just about every string out there, but I always came back to GHS Bass Boomers. When I realized GHS was based in Battle Creek, it felt like a natural alignment of my career and my passion. I’m genuinely honored to work here and excited to help grow the brand I’ve trusted as a player for years.”
