D’Addario Launches Players Choice Custom String Shop
D’Addario has launched the Players Choice Custom String Shop, an online platform that empowers musicians to design their own personalized string sets with complete creative control. Available on daddario.com, this tool lets players select their instrument and choose from D’Addario’s most popular gauges and alloys across electric and acoustic guitar strings, including support for standard 6- and 12-string guitars, as well as extended-range 7-, 8- and 9-string configurations. The platform features no minimum order requirements and integrates seamlessly with Players Circle profiles for easy reorders and rewards point accumulation.
“Musicians looking for their ‘perfect string set’ need an intuitive way to experiment on screen and find the perfect combination of gauges and alloys to satisfy their requirements,” said Jim D’Addario, D’Addario’s founder. “We created the Players Choice Custom String Shop to satisfy everyone’s customization needs.”
The Custom String Shop offers access to options like XL, Chromes and Phosphor Bronze strings, as well as premium NYXL and XS coated upgrades. Currently available in the U.S., Canada and Europe, the platform lets musicians name their custom sets and save them for future reorders.
