On Thursday evening, NAMM kicked off the show with the annual Top 100 Awards. Nine awards were handed out during the ceremony, which was held at the Anaheim Hilton, including the coveted Dealer of the Year award, which went to All County Music in Tamarac, Florida.

“At the heart of each music retailer is a story of community, of going above and beyond to serve others with the instruments and tools to experience the joy of making music,” said Joe Lamond, president and CEO of NAMM. “This has never been more evident than in the past two years. Service to community-at-large, no matter the circumstances, is why we celebrate these stores and all music retailers tonight.”

Hosted by NAMM’s Zach Phillips, the Top 100 Awards celebrate the spirit of the independent music retailer and applaud their accomplishments, resilience and commitment to serving music makers. This was the first year NAMM held the awards in Anaheim instead of their usual home at Summer NAMM.

The following “best of” category winners were also announced:

All County Music for Best Community Retail Store, Cottonwood Music Emporium for Best Customer Service, Antonio Violins and Ukes for Best Marketing and Sales Promotion, Impulse Music Co. for Best Online Engagement, Maxwell’s House of Music for Best Store Design, Andertons Music Co. for Customers’ Choice Award, Amro Music Stores for Innovation Award and Zeswitz Music for Music Makes a Difference Award.
