Euphonix Reports Record Sales, Moves Headquarters

Euphonix has announced that its professional products division achieved its best annual revenues in more than 10 years in 2008.

“In a period of difficult economic times, it is refreshing to see that, as a brand, Euphonix has managed to satisfy a growing need for professional mixing consoles and controllers of the highest quality,” said Euphonix CEO Martin Kloiber. “Adjustments in our sales and service structure implemented before the economic downturn are now paying off and are directly responsible for our current strong market position.”

Kloiber credited widespread acceptance of the EuCon protocol among other audio manufacturers as a factor in sales. This high-speed Ethernet protocol, developed by Euphonix, lets a hardware control surface directly communicate with a software application. “Each time a new manufacturer, such as Mark of the Unicorn or Metric Halo, adopts EuCon, the value of each client’s investment in our production solutions increases,” Kloiber said.

New HQ
Euphonix has also signed a lease on a new corporate headquarters, engineering and manufacturing facility in Mountain View, Calif. The new facility has higher environmental standards, and it provides more space for Euphonix’s growing operations. The move is expected to take place in May.
