JUNE 21 | KORG | STAFFING
Castronovo
to Head Korg

Korg has named Joseph Castronovo as the new president of Korg USA. Castronovo has been with Korg USA — exclusive U.S. distributor of Korg, Marshall, ToneWorks and Vox — for more than 20 years, most recently as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Castronovo succeeds former president Michael Kovins, who passed away on May 2.

In 1985, Castronovo began his career at Korg USA as manager of financial reporting and steadily earned senior level responsibilities. In 1994, he was promoted to his most recent positions.

Castronovo earned his Bachelor's in Accounting from Boston University and his MBA in Management from Hofstra University. He is also an active community member, serving on the boards of a variety of civic and philanthropic organizations.

“Joe has the experience, leadership, energy and vision to lead Korg USA as it faces the opportunities and challenges that the future is sure to bring," said Tsutomu Katoh, chairman and founder of Korg. "We have great confidence that he will help Korg USA achieve continued success and growth.”
