Totally Wycked Audio has released Source Code, a next-generation soft-clip overdrive designed by TS808 creator Susumu Tamura. Operating at 18V with a redesigned input buffer, custom op-amp, Bite control for even order harmonics, and a +6 dB clean boost, it modernizes the classic 808 circuit while expanding headroom and tonal control. The SC-01 Source Code features drive, tone and level controls, true bypass, 9V operation, and is handmade in the United States.
