For more than 30 years, the cutaway Grand Auditorium has been known for its comfortability and musical versatility. Now, the Next Generation models combine three new design features — the patented Action Control Neck, a new Scalloped V-Class Bracing pattern and new Claria System electronics — that work in harmony to transform the feel, sound and live performance utility while retaining the core identity that players love. The 314ce represents the entry point into the Next Generation Grand Auditorium experience in Taylor’s 300 Series. This model features sapele back and sides paired with a solid spruce top, now enhanced with the Action Control Neck’s long-tenon joint that extends deeper into the guitar body for dramatically improved sustain, warmth and resonance, while allowing instant string height adjustments directly through the soundhole without removing strings.
