Stringjoy has collaborated with guitar virtuoso and frontman of the Bros. Landreth, Joey Landreth, to release the Stringjoy Joey Landreth Artist Signature set. Stringjoy Joey Landreth Artist Signature strings were born of a decade-long collaboration between Stringjoy founder Scott Marquart and Landreth in which the two sought to formulate the perfect set for Landreth’s use of open tunings and hybrid slide technique. The result is are the Joey Landreth Signature strings which feature gauges ranging from .019 to .056 (.019, .022 plain, .024 wound, .032, .044, .056). These nickel-wound strings include a wound third string and are designed specifically for Open C and other dropped or open tunings on standard scale-length guitars. They’re optimized for both slide and fretted/hybrid playing styles.
