Orange Amps has released the Baby Terror, an analog micro-lunchbox addition amplifier to its Baby series. The Baby Terror retains Orange’s own lunchbox footprint, with gain and volume sitting alongside a full three-band EQ and presence control, moving easily from warm rounded cleans through classic crunch, to tight cutting drive. For extra weight at cleaner gain settings, Orange’s Tubby switch lets more low end through early in the signal path, adding fullness and body to clean and “dirty-clean” sounds. A second, footswitchable volume makes the Baby Terror easily usable in a band mix. Players can step forward for a solo, lift a chorus or hit a louder passage without changing their gain or EQ. Around the back, an effects loop keeps delays, reverbs and modulation clear and defined, while a balanced line out with ground lift connects neatly for recording interfaces and live rigs.
