On-Stage has released the GP12MH Medium / Heavy Guitar Picks, a playing-technique solution that provides guitarists and bassists with a multitude of string-plucking options. With 12 picks to choose from, including four each of 0.88-millimeter, 0.96-millimeter and 1.2-millimeter gauges, players are presented with a varied palette of volume, tone, and articulation. As for material choices, this pack includes nylon picks with a fast attack and brighter tone, as well as celluloid picks that have more of a relaxed feel, producing a mellower tone. The various gauges also let users further tailor their tone, with the medium range emphasizing a straightforward string sound, and the heavy range having a more aggressive chugging thud.
