On-Stage has released the Adventure Series of gig bags. Available in electric (GBEDV), acoustic (GBAADV) and bass (GBBADV) models, and two finishes (black and green), this instrument-care solution delivers serious protection, safe storage and ease of transportation for a guitar — without the added weight of a hardshell case. Like a case however, this gig bag encloses a guitar on all four sides with three layers of protection. First there’s the rugged 600D-nylon exterior that defends the instrument against scratches, spills and inclement weather. The second line of defense is thick foam padding on the top, bottom and sidewalls that safeguards the guitar against dings and dents. And third, inside, there’s a smooth, scratch-free lining that helps keep the instrument’s finish looking fresh. Two adjustable padded backpack-style straps enable ergonomic hands-free transportation.
