Universal Audio has added four new compact effects pedals to its UAFX lineup. Built on UAFX processing and UA’s analog modeling, the new Orion Tape Echo, 1176 Studio Compressor, Heavenly Plate Reverb and Evermore Studio Reverb (pictured) single-footswitch stompboxes let guitarists easily create immersive soundscapes. The Orio Tape Echo is an authentic emulation of a vintage Maestro Echoplex EP-III tape echo in a compact stompbox, while the new Heavenly Plate Reverb provides the sound of the 1950s German-made studio reverbs. The Evermore Studio Reverb offers grainy ambient trails and modulations of the 1970s vintage digital hardware, in a compact stompbox and the Universal Audio 1176 delivers the same punchy, expressive tones of the world-renowned hardware, in a compact stompbox.
