The MXR EVH Modern High Gain Pedal, developed in collaboration with Eddie Van Halen in 2015, delivers high-gain distortion with controls for output, gain, and a three-band EQ (bass, mid, treble). It includes a Boost switch for additional gain, a 55Hz/80Hz switch to adjust low-end response, and a Noise Gate to manage signal clarity at high levels. The pedal is designed to maintain definition across both rhythm and lead playing at high saturation.
