The Martin CEO 10 is the first model in the line that was designed by Martin’s CEO Thomas Ripsam, who said he wanted to produce a guitar that covered a wide variety of playing styles. The 000 body size is ideal for both picking and strumming. Guatemalan rosewood and spruce combine to create a great sound and offer the ability to play dynamically. The Guatemalan rosewood also features an expressive grain pattern, while the historic amber-tone finish and the flamed maple binding complete the aesthetic. As a German native, Ripsam said he wanted his first CEO model to have a connection to Europe, which is why European spruce was selected for the top.
