The Lekholm DM48X is a MIDI wind controller in the form of a chromatic harmonica ideal for harmonica players or anyone who wants an expressive alternative to the MIDI keyboard. The DM48X features 12 independent pressure sensors, which detect positive and negative pressure and put players in control of a world of electronic sounds. Highly adjustable with a built-in tuning editor for custom scales, the DM48X also lets users control and modulate using their breath plus the configurable ribbon controller. Three buttons are configurable as sliders for quick transposition or as MIDI control keys for even more modulation possibilities. All settings are easily accessible directly on the device’s OLED screen using a menu system. The DM48X can be paired with an iOS device or connect to a computer via USB or Bluetooth.
