Hal Leonard has debuted the “The Homespun Songbook” by folk musician and founder of Homespun Tapes, Happy Traum. Traum hand-selected 100 songs that he felt were ideal for singing and playing at gatherings. Traum provides an introduction to each song with background information on each song’s origins, personal advice on how to play them or stories on who wrote them or made them famous.The songs are presented with chord letters over the lyrics and guitar chord boxes for those who need help finding the fingerings. The book is separated into the categories of Traditional Folk and Bluegrass; Singing the Blues; Gospel Songs and Spirituals and Singer/Songwriters.
