The Fender Custom Shop has introduced a faithful recreation of George Harrison’s “Rocky” Stratocaster. Master Builder Paul Waller examined and measured the original in exacting detail, including its body, neck with a rare asymmetrical C-shape profile, pickups and wiring — right down to Harrison’s own multicolored, psychedelic paint job. The Grimwood’s decal from a music store where it was purchased at one point remains in place on the back of the headstock.
