D’Addario has launched its Eco-Comfort line of recycled guitar straps. Roughly 90 percent of the straps are made from recycled materials. All Eco-Comfort guitar straps are made from Repreve, which provides high-quality, recycled fibers that are certified, traceable and made with 100 percent recycled materials — including post-consumer plastic bottles and pre-consumer waste. The leather ends of the straps are crafted from eco-leather, or repurposed leather that has been grinded down and bound into newly formed leather sheets. The Eco-Comfort Recycled Guitar Strap line is available in 10 different models featuring three basic color straps (black, red and grey) and seven different jacquard designs.
