Cort Guitars has debuted its new 60 series line of acoustic guitars targeting the under-$300 price-point. The new series is available in either dreadnought or orchestra body shapes with optional electronics and cutaway. All models within the 60 series feature mahogany back and sides, either a solid spruce or solid mahogany tops, with abalone rosettes and white purfling, advanced x-bracing, a laurel bridge and black body binding. The 25.5-inch scale length neck is a made of mahogany and uses a dovetail neck joint for maximum tone transfer, sustain and durability. The 20-fret fingerboard is made of laurel, featuring white dot inlays.
