Yamaha Pro Goes 2.0

Yamaha Corp. of America, Band and Orchestral division has launched Yamaha Certified Professional Program 2.0 (YCSP 2.0). The new sessions are available here.

“We recognize that Yamaha’s strength is fully linked to the vitality of its dealer network,” said Kurt Witt, marketing manager for Yamaha Winds. “YCSP 2.0 was developed in response to our retailers’ overwhelmingly positive reaction to the innovative and empowering sales tools we provide.”

The new sessions consist of a series of audiovisual-based training modules and supplementary quizzes designed in the same formula as the original YCSP 1.0 format. They will feature Yamaha trainer and presenter Kevin Kehoe, and include eight episodes specifically designed to address sales training.

The 10-15 minute sessions will instruct users how to handle different buyer situations and explore various customer psychology concepts. Session titles include: Introduction to Professional Selling, “Yes”-Type Customers, “No”-Type Customers, Beginning the Sales Process, Demonstrating Features and Benefits, Closing the Sale, Handling Objections and A Successful Sale.
