Fender has launched Custom Care, a customer service program that offers support and service to dealers, distributors and consumers.
As part of the program launch, Fender has issued a comprehensive Custom Care guide illustrating the benefits of the program to authorized Fender Custom Shop dealers. The material is also available through the Custom Care Web site.
One key element of this service begins when owners register their Custom Shop instruments online. This immediately extends the electronic and hardware component coverage portion of their warranty from one year to limited lifetime.
“Fender’s Custom Care program has one fundamental goal — to provide the owners of Custom Shop instruments with the best support possible,” said Andy Rossi, senior vice president of global marketing, sales and R&D for Fender. “When customers purchase a world-class Fender Custom Shop instrument, they also gain access to world-class customer service.”
The Custom Care program also includes a priority hotline for consumers and a separate hotline for dealers, distributors and service centers. The program provides worldwide repair and service options, complimentary shipping, a 21-point instrument inspection, non-warranty repair work and service documentation.
