KHS America has appointed Tabor Stamper as president. In his new role, Stamper will oversee the U.S. operations of Jupiter Band Instruments, Mapex Drums, Majestic Timpani and Mallet Instruments, Ross Mallet Instruments, and Altus Professional Flutes.
“It is with a great deal of humility and honor that I assume my new role with KHS America,” Stamper said. “It is the great team of employees that make this company stand out, and with their continued dedication and hard work, KHS America, Inc. is there for the long haul. While many of our competitors are rushing to find low-cost suppliers, over which they have little control, KHS is building more and more quality into its company-owned facilities. That, coupled with our superior customer service, can only mean more good things to come for our loyal Jupiter, Mapex and Altus dealers, music educators, and musicians of all ages and abilities.”
Stamper is a 13-year veteran of the music industry. Since joining Jupiter, he has led the company’s entrance into the professional instrument market and the recent introduction of high-level marching brass and percussion. With a music education background, he is dedicated to school music and the industry that surrounds and supports it.
